Round table 鈥淣ational identity: cultureme La R茅publique Fran莽aise鈥�

The Department of foreign languages (Institute of Medicine, RUDN University), the Department of linguistics and intercultural communication (MSLU Faculty of distance learning), are hosting an inter-university round table in French “National identity: cultureme La République Française”.
The key topic of the event is polyparadigmatic analysis of the cultureme “French Republic”.
The event is aimed at forming socio-cultural competence and professionally oriented foreign language communicative competence of students of RUDN University Institute of Medicine and MSLU Faculty of distance learning.
Objectives of the event: consideration of various aspects of the cultureme “French Republic” as part of learning a foreign language for special purposes.
Practical relevance: developing socio-cultural competence and professionally-oriented foreign language communicative competence based on modeling complex forms of professional information exchange.
The round table is supposed to contribute to forming the socio-cultural competence and professionally oriented foreign language communicative competence in the field of linguistics and intercultural communication.
