Members of the International Expert Council impressed by the new RUDN slogan

21 February, RUDN hosted an on-line meeting of the International Expert Council where Rector Filippov presented draft report on the realization of «5-100» academic excellence program in 2016. The IEC members highly estimated the work of the University in 2016, commented on the report and congratulated RUDN on the new slogan.
«I want to congratulate those who invented the slogan «Discover the whole world in one university». It’s a good job! It well reflects the spirit of the university», said President of the International Observatory on academic ranking and excellence, Doctor Honoris Causa Jan Sadlak.
Hans de Wit, Director of Boston College Center for international higher education stressed that he supported RUDN new positioning.
«It is a very good slogan and I like the logo as well. It reflects very well what you are aiming at. You want to move from quantity to quality. It is not the number of student that matters but their proficiency. It is a very correct way. You have already done a lot for your international reputation».
The next on-line meeting of the IEC will take place in June, while in October the IEC will meet in Moscow.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
RUDN University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
