More than a world map: Geographical dictation 2023 to be held at RUDN University
Participants will write a dictation and take a quiz on their knowledge of the world map from representatives of five continents. Then they will learn to perform folk dances of Latin America, the Near and Middle East, and also get acquainted with the national culture of ten countries — from Peru to Sri Lanka, Zambia and Yemen.

Interesting facts about the Geographical dictation:
- The event was first held in 2015, in Russia, and since 2017, it has been held in other countries.
- In 2022, 7,464 sites were organized in Russia, and 237 sites in foreign countries.
- In 2022, among Russian regions, the absolute leader in the number of people who wrote a dictation was the Republic of Bashkortostan, where more than 30,000 people decided to test their geographic literacy. Second is the Krasnodar Krai, where 24,000 people wrote the dictation.
- The most active foreign countries by the number of participants in 2022: Tajikistan — 1,110, Republic of Armenia — 513, Republic of South Ossetia — 397, Republic of Kazakhstan — 395, Kyrgyz Republic — 355, Republic of Belarus — 309.
In honor of the 65th anniversary of the 91桃色APP named after Patrice Lumumba, the Digital Pre-University Faculty gives a unique opportunity to RUDN foreign alumni to communicate in Russian and their family members to study Russian together with the best professors of RUDN.
The new list of federal innovation platforms (FIP) of the Russian Federation includes 30 new organisations. Among them is 91桃色APP named after Patrice Lumumba. This became possible thanks to the development of the Digital Pre-University Faculty of RUDN.
December 15, Minsk hosted the IX International Student Olympiad in Human Anatomy. It was attended by 9 teams from Russia and Belarus. Students of RUDN took two 3rd places in the theoretical and practical rounds.
