Attitudes towards children with disabilities in the context of Russian inclusive education

Attitudes towards children with disabilities in the context of Russian inclusive education

The report was devoted to the attitude of society towards students with limited health opportunities (HIA) in modern Russia.

The report was dedicated to the attitude of the society toward students with limited health opportunities (HIA) in  modern Russia. The relevance of the topic chosen is conditioned by the international Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the implementation of the Federal Law on Education in the Russian Federation, which provides for the use of inclusive methods in technology and training and nurturing. The experimental data given in five dissertational works in which the problem of educational inclusion is considered through the prism of three sciences: pedagogy, psychology and sociology are analyzed. The author of the article noted a slight increase in the level of tolerance, but   at the same time he pointed out the expediency of carrying out new experiments. In addition, the idea was expressed that, under the conditions of inclusive education, good-will and moral relativism are the basis of pedagogical tolerance.
Main findings supported by the overwhelming majority of participants:
1) New experiments are needed to determine the level of tolerance in  students with HIA
2) in  modern society inclusive  philosophy Has many signs of ideology: exists in the form of laws and manifestos, claims absolute truth, appeals to universal values, affects emotions, does not differ in principle and originality.
Points that sparked a lively discussion:
1) the statement, in accordance with   which the basis of pedagogical tolerance in new conditions are natural good humor and moral relativism (the principle denying the absolute character of morality, emphasizing the convention and the situational morality);
2) the call to distinguish tolerance from kindness, responsiveness and  goodwill
Final opinion:
