RUDN expert tells about ecological risks management in RUSAL at an international conference in Oxford
Industrial Technology and Management provides an excellent international forum for sharing knowledge and results in theory, methodology and applications of Industrial Technology and Management. The Conference looks for significant contributions to all major fields of the Industrial Technology and Management in theoretical and practical aspects. The aim of the conference is to provide a platform to the researchers and practitioners from both academia as well as industry to meet and share cutting-edge development in the field.
ICITM has been an annual event which was held in many places till now. ICITM 2018 welcomed author submission of papers concerning any branch of the Industrial Technology and Management, and their applications in education, and other subjects. The subjects covered by the ICITM 2018 include E-Business and E-Commerce, Engineering Economy and Cost Analysis, Information Processing and Engineering, Reliability and Maintenance Engineering and their applications.
ICITM conference proceedings are indexed by El Compendex and Scopus.
One of the reports was made my Anna Verinikina, lecturer of the department of political economics of RUDN Faculty of Economics who talked about economic risks management by the example of RUSAL, one of the biggest Russian companies. Co-author of the report – professor John Finley (Columbus University, USA).
Participants of ICITM 2018 were especially interested in the integration of eco management system in Industry 4.0 – a unified concept of production based on product life cycle management and smart production strategy with the use of IoT and cyber systems.
Products derived from microalgae represent a cutting-edge development in the field of bioeconomy. The potential of this biological resource was discussed at the international research seminar “Foundations for a Green Sustainable Energy”, part of the BRICS Network University’s thematic group on “Energy”. The event was organized by the Institute of Ecology at RUDN University.
Ambassadors of Russian education and science met at a conference in RUDN University to discuss how they can increase the visibility of Russian universities and research organizations in the world, and attract more international students in Russia.
The international scientific seminar hosted by RUDN Institute of Ecology “Experience of participation in student organizations as a way to form career skills” united scholarship recipients of the International Student Mobility Awards 2024 and Open Doors, along with members of the scientific student society “GreenLab” and the professional student association “Kostyor (Bonfire)” shared their projects focused on environmental protection.
