April 20, RUDN Law Institute welcomed the participants of the conference "Languages for Peace and Partnership". This year the conference has acquired the status of international: 150 speakers from the universities of the Republic of Belarus, India, Spain, China, Turkey, France and Russia took part in it.
20 countries, 241 participants, 7 languages — оn April 4, the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University organized and held online the 11th International Multidisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference in Foreign Languages “The Modern Paradigm of Scientific Knowledge: Actuality and Perspectives”.
RUDN University team is the winner in the "Integration Experts" nomination at the XI Eurasian Student Olympiad in Analytical Economics and Econometrics.
On March 28, 2023, within the framework of academic and methodological online seminar of the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University, invited lector Angelo Loreti (Senior Lecturer, Department of Philosophy of Language and Communication, Faculty of Philosophy, Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU)) gave lecture entitled “Philosophy of language and intercultural communication, translation”. The lecture was held online via Microsoft Teams.
In February, RUDN dentists took part in the AEEDC Student competition 2023 in Dubai. Students from 8 countries: Bahrain, Georgia, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Russia and Singapore competed in professional skills.
Master student in political science Alexander Belkov became the best young researcher in the international competition “The best article of a young political scientist — 2022” announced by the journal “Russian Political Science”. On November 23, 2022, Chev. Prof. Mario Pace, (Ph.D. (Melit), Associate Professor, Head of the Department, Languages and Humanities Education, Faculty of Education, University of Malta, language consultant to the Minister of Education) gave lecture entitled “Languages and Translation in the Context of Intercultural Communication” within the framework of the academic and methodological online seminar of the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University held via MS Teams. The event attracted an audience of more than 80 guests.
RUDN University students are among the winners and prize-winners of the Second International Student Contest of Professionally Oriented Translation, which was attended by 876 participants from 6 countries. 1,316 works were presented in 11 categories of the competition. Over 160 were disqualified for machine translation.
September 14, 2022, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko spoke to RUDN University students on the eve of World Patient Safety Day.
All students — citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens who have an opportunity to enter Russia, will start in-person training in the 2022/2023 academic year. Part of the lectures will be online, the format of the classes will be indicated in the schedule.
Anastasia Voevodina, a third-year student at the RUDN University Institute of Ecology, treats environmental issues with great responsibility. The girl successfully combines her studies with volunteer activities.
During the “Mosprom studweek”, the results of an industrial hackathon on solving applied technical problems of Mosprom were summed up. 23 teams, 115 participants from 7 universities of Moscow competed in solving technical cases. RUDN University was represented by four teams of the Engineering Academy. The winner was “Champion’s Breakfast”, the team of 3rd year students of the Department of Mechanics and Control Processes. 5 students -winners were invited to an internship at the State Space Research and Production Center named after M.V. Khrunichev.
