On the 25 - 28 of February 2018 in Houston, USA, was held the 2nd International Conference on Gas, Oil & Petroleum Engineering (GOPE-2018) - the largest international industrial and scientific event in the field of creation and application of various technologies of the oil refining industry.

On the 25 — 28 of February 2018 in Houston, USA, was held the 2nd International Conference on Gas, Oil & Petroleum Engineering (GOPE-2018) — the largest international industrial and scientific event in the field of creation and application of various technologies of the oil refining industry.

GOPE-2018 aimed to join the scientific community working on various aspects of research and development to promote the exchange of ideas across a wide range of disciplines, including significant advancement and challenges in the energy sector — gas, oil, coal and fuel engineering. Prospects for the development of the oil and gas industry are mainly associated with the wide manufacturing application of advanced technologies and equipment to improve the efficiency of technological processes, their economy, reliability and safety.

This year the conference attracted more than 150 scientists working in the fields of gas, oil, coal and fuel engineering from the USA, the Netherlands, Mexico, Korea, Japan, Australia, Singapore, China. During the work of the conference were presented more than 100 reports. In particular, the conference was attended by representatives of fuel corporations and universities: Schlumberger, Davis L.
